Hey there. I’ve read that article written by Colin J. which he says that in this first BW we will experience 25% of Verdant Brink and I was wondering if the three biomes (canopy, floor and root) will be playable. Are they going to be playable or we’ll have the same limited map as of the last time we could play?

It’s going to be the same area that we got to play during the last beta.

Colin said thats betas will be the 25% of the new map we see and very likely the rest of Tyria. They don’t want to spoil story steps so everywhere else for the jungle will be locked off.

It’s funny, because he says 25% of the map, but it looks like 50% of the canopy layer is already shown. If we say the other half of the canopy layer is another 25%. That means the floor and roots will be 25% as well.

That actually pretty huge for one map!

Well, yeah HoT maps are going to be really huge because of the three adjacent layers, but Colin’s article is quite ambiguous: last time we played at Verdant Brink (Portal to the Heart of Maguuma event) we could discover and play through the half of the canopy layer’s map, which means I think we’ll get more 25% of the canopy layer. But we could also get more 25% of the canopy layer plus floor and root of the respective map.

Meh we shall have to wait and see -_-
