BWE: Airship Salvage Scaling
Seen this happen many times on various events, I think it happens when a lot of people are around it scales up to requiring a lot of hand ins but then when those people leave it doesn’t scale back down again, I could be wrong about this but it has certainly happened to me a few times over the years.
It may be due to the fact that the salvage mission requires access to bouncy mushrooms and gliders, so a lot of people who were in the event chain up until that point left when that step starts.
My problem with the event later in the day is that there just wasn’t any salvage to be found. I wondered if it had a certain amount of spawns per player and didn’t reset for me between cycles.
Someone in Map Chat said that if we saw a flopper walking and not fighting we should follow it as it was heading to salvage, but I don’t know if that meant it would “create” some when it went to steal it or what. I had to give up on helping with the event after I ranged all over that plateau and found not one box, when my first time in the event they were all over the ground.
Bump, this event upscales too much to a point that it takes waaaay to long to complete, this bascially happens to any gathering event that doesnt have a number ceiling, like when you help that little kid collecting armor to build dummies.
