Berserker elite specialization feels out of place.

With the zerker meta supposed to be pushed away, having a full offensive specialization to an already (mostly) offensive class seems a bit like trying to extinguish a fire by throwing oil on it….

How i see it, a Berserker should be able to take on punishment, like a tank but crash at the end for pushing the limit too far.

The following could be added in the ‘’defensive traits’’ ( third trait on each column) of the berserker trait line.

Grandmaster trait:
Adrenaline, like the necro’s shroud could be used as a second hp pool, taking damage would deplete it ( with armor mitigation in play) while dealing damage would recharge it. Breaking the berserker state by taking too much damage or consuming your adrenaline with a burst skill would leave you vulnerable (25 stacks) for few seconds.

Master traits:
Condition applied to you while in Berserker do not damage or affect you, conditions applied to you while in Berserker do not expire over time. Conditions are not removable while in Berserker state.

Adept trait:
Berserker state while in combat do not have any time limit once triggered.

This is how a berserker should feel and play, spamming burst skills and applying conditions are also good additions but the defensive aspect of it is very lacking. This for the very least stays in the battle crazed concept, refusing to die until the very last enemy bites the dust.

yea but if that became a thing, there would logically be no “downed” state for beserkers… its insta death upon health = 0

Can always tweak the values but this would be viable, you are not invincible yet you can take a lot of punishment. If they overload you well you pay the price with the conditions and the Vulnerability at the end, having condition removal would be useful only after exiting Berserker state.
