Which Elite Specialization Class do you guys think is the best in PVE after the HOT Expansion patch, and tell us why and what it offers in the field that fits better than other classes.

warrior is kitten i can confirm that after 3k hours on it
herald is OP atm not fun to be played do
and for me best is the reaper necro gain a lot here man
dragon hunter is good for pvp not fun in pve do

Hands down the Reaper by a long shot. I have all 8 classes with all abilities and I spend 90% of my time romping through everything on the Necro.

I second this. Warrior is pure crap now and mine is stripped and parked at a node farm. Guess it’s Anet’s way of payback for being the OP class for so long.

I enjoy MM reaper, and Fresh Air tempest presently. Haven’t really spent any time poking at the others yet.

Yo OP, don’t listen to Gele, the Warrior is super great fun in HOT! I’ve never had such a blast, maybe Ol’ Gele has burned out or spent every one of those three thousand hours running berserker? :P

Here’s how you PvE with a Warrior now:

1. Slot Elite spec
2. Get loads of condition damage and burn duration
3. Dust off that Longbow
4. Watch your burn ticks hit 10k
5. Giggle

Just don’t forget to dodge when the big target appears above your head!

Scapper

Dive right in all day every day.

Reaper, DH, Herald, Tempest are the best solo classes imo.

I had fun with warrior, but if you are running zerker gear in a condi set up, you’re gonna have a bad day.

So far burn Guard is just ez mode in HoT.

Just started on my ranger, again pew, pew ranger is also ez mode.

good dps / pet to tank and a druid to switch to for heals galore dieing out side hot would be a challenge i think
