The search function here never seems to work for me so apologies if this has been asked/answered already.

How does keeping the names of our beta characters work? Do we need to make the character in a non-beta slot to place-hold the name for expansion release or will beta character names remain associated with our account for a certain length of time after release?

need to make the character in a non-beta slot to place-hold the name for expansion release and have 24hrs to reclaim the name before it goes back up for grabs.
