[Beta] Small bugs found in Beta
Enemy animations are wonky as Hell.
Experienced it with the raptors, mordrem wolves, etc. but the Smokescales were by far the worst. They would just teleport on top of me, then spazz into a different position every second or so with no proper transition.
A shame fun things could not simply be fun.
Revenant – interacting with the glider and crash landing causes weapon swap effects to trigger. Meaning free PBAoE damage if you’re in Malyx stance.
Glider - Can be used on even the most negligible of slopes, we’re talking less than 1cm of elevation change.
Animations in the jungle vines and trolls seemed to have them warping around the area without reason.
The points seemed to have no reprieve from the jungle vines even if the area was cleared of them. They popped back up again within a few seconds.
The beta had a lot of warping, both allies and enemies.
- Another bug is in history mode in SW at the begining. When you are in the zone to get to maguma you have to walk to the precise point or the green dot won’t activate.
Again this is not marked in the min map so there is no way to know where to go.
This happened when Amber Sandland was being attacked. Although the Pact kept the fort, i had to walk around to find the spot to activate the green star.
That point is in the middle left of the square but is ot marked with anything so also easy to miss.
The beta had a lot of warping, both allies and enemies.
I only experienced warping enemies, but it was frequent and notable because I almost never experience it in the main game.
There was a weird lag with all the patrols with the supplies you needed to walk from point A to B. The enemy would appear a bit away, and poof! the NPC vanished, and appeared by the enemies (I had been walking right next to him). By the time I got up there, it’d be too late to save them.
[HOPE] – Hope Remains, Crystal Desert
In this round 2 i tried combat (first was map exploration) i’ve seen nothing new that hasn’t been said in the forums before.
- Warping mobs and pnjs (although more on mobs).
- Some events get staled (like the massive vinewarth and the mortars..)
- Others failed although it shouldn’t or at least couldn’t see any indicators of that. (case with protecting the Pacts helicopter, we where fighting there and suddenly failed)
- WP in ruins is never contested although it should because there is an event there, allowing players to insta-teleport in the fight. Don’t know the others.
- Some pathing issues with the pact soldiers that carry the supplies. There is one that goes always stairs down just to get back up.
- When the mobs charges sometime get stuck in the terrain. Don’t know if is intended, but causes that if you get around, although shouldn’t hit you it does.
- A.I. seems improved, now mobs dodge (very nice) and change attacks pattern.
