Beta Week?
I don’t think a whole week would help much but, considering the raid was broken most of the time and there are still multiple issues, another weekend might be a good idea.
Wouldn’t it be cool to go out with a bang before the release of HoT with a whole week of testing and tweeking?
They’ve stated this weekend would be the last beta. Although of course they might’ve changed their minds due to the problems with raid testing. In either case, a week-long beta seems highly unlikely.
Most likely they’ve had a secret closed beta group playing for quite a while now.
During weekdays the population is also lower, so less of a ‘stress test’. Besides, it’s not as if there was sooo much to do during the weekend event that you could fill an entire week with.
More importly, I don’t think it will really help them much more. The issues that arise will still need to fixed, and we’re three weeks away from live. They only have so many people available to actually fix things (after they figured out what was causing it anyway), so they might just as well fix what is broken after this weekend, and then sort the rest once it goes live as they pop up.
Pretty? No. Unfortuanly A-Net painted themselves in a corner by comitting to a release date. Nothing new, but still a shame. We’ll see 23rd what we get. If its too broken, just play what is there and come back a week later.

They will be doing this anyway, testing, fixing and tweaking right up to the release date, and, inevitably, there will be a bunch of hot fixes after it goes live. They don’t need us for that, we’ll just be a distraction: they already know about the problems we’re encountering we’ll just have to hope they can fix as many of the issues as possible before release.
