Beta times help
http://fr.thetimenow.com/pst/pacific_standard_time That should help you find the right one
I used this website to check out my timezone (GMT+1 plus summer time).
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converted.html?iso=20150526T1130&p1=137&p2=16
Hope this helps.
so i don’t know where i read this but, is the times i posted above UTC-7? or is it UTC-0?
Would seem neither I guess. 6:30pm is GMT+0 (British time). Pacific Time is -7 if I’m correct/
My bad. UTC = GMT.
glad you got it^^
since everyone is posting their favorite time-calc-site:
here is mine

We need more JP´s !!
Don’t forget that they are using PDT not PST, best to avoid websites that automatically covert times as some seems to still use PST.
I suggest using this http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/convert/ and do a little bit of math to calculate your time zone.
I didn’t try all the websites posted above; but can confirm that http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converted.html?iso=20150526T1130&p1=137&p2=16 works
Then again, please Anet add a GMT time to your announcements :/

Could also just open your Windows Clock on your task bar (if using a Windows system) and click the Pacific time zone for where ANet is located. Can then quickly see what time it is there currently and see how many hours away from the beta time it is so you can add that many hours to your current time.
So, hit PDT time zone and see that it is currently 5:45AM there. If it begins at 11:30AM PDT, then you have 5 hours and 45 minutes to go until it starts. Just add that amount of time to your current time where you are.
And if you are in-game, open your options and toggle the in-game clock from local to server time, which is UTC. You can quickly compare your local time to UTC and see how long until it begins.

As an added check, I’ll tell you it starts in just over 3 hours from this post.

Thank you for this straight up post exactly what I needed
Quite literally if you type in “UTC to GMT” in google it tells you as the first option. As others have mentioned they are the same by the way. This works with any time zone. For example, if I put in “PST to EST” it shows there is a three hour difference.
Much easier to use google than forums…

i used google, couldnt find anything since everything i found didnt corrospond to eatchother for some reason, i was getting different results. thank you to all those who took the time to answer

GMT+0 is NOT british time currently, that would be GMT+1 (GMT+0 is british time only during the winter).
And this is why imo daylight saving time should not exist in the first place… causes more problems than good things :P
GMT and UTC is the same time always. They do not change, countries that use GMT as a timezone (England) will change to BST (British Summer Time) which is GMT +1 (UTC +1)
The two are often confused and even more so when people assume that the UK is always GMT.
Just delete posts that are derailments.
I just google ‘11:30 a.m. Pacific Time’ and it give me my local time.
i have tried alot of calculators but no websites would do UTC to GMT, so does anyone know what time the beta would be available in GMT
i know the UTC and PT ones
6:30 p.m. UTC (11:30 a.m. Pacific Time) to 8:30 p.m. UTC (1:30 p.m. Pacific Time)
10:30 p.m. UTC (3:30 p.m. Pacific Time) to 12:30 a.m. UTC on 27th May (5:30 p.m. Pacific Time on 26th May)
2:30 a.m. UTC on 27th May (7:30 p.m. Pacific Time on 26th May) to 4:30 a.m. UTC on 27th May (9:30 p.m. Pacific Time on 26th May)
easiest way is to google it…
What time is it now in california?
then just do the math…
