it was mentioned in the patchnotes that anyone who has a Feather Wing Backpack equipped and talks to a spy in the new area will receive the matching glider..

so I transmuted my backpack and did what I have read before but nothing happens..
I dont have the original skin anymore bc I bought them a such looong time ago.

is this just a bug or wont I ever receive that glider?

Unequip and equip it again. Then speak to the scout.

I tried it again today on a different character but still no black wings glider received..

I had to leave the jungle and re-enter it with the backpack on for the scout to recognize it.

Yeah I can’t get the black wings to unlock at all, no matter what I do.

I ran into this as well and can confirm that unequiping the skinned back item and re-equiping it works.

Specifically I took the back item off, put it back on, and zoned into verdant brink. Spoke to the scout, closed the map (with the m key), and had the dialog to get my wings glider.

Tried to turn off, unequip, speak with scout, equip, turn on, speak again. Tried to jump out from Verdant Brink. Nothing works for me.
