I’ve been trying for a few weeks, daily to acquire the Bladed Armor Chest piece that requires 100% participation, T4 and getting lucky at a night cycle boss. It’s been frustrating to say the least. Most maps never reach T4 and none of the champions or legendaries have dropped a chest in the many times in I’ve participated in the boss fights. The requirements to obtain this one piece of armor to complete the set seems out of reach now that participation from the community is low. Even obtaining a legendary from scratch seems easier at this point.

Any tips that can help me be more successful? Should I contact Anet and tell them because of the zone mechanics, it’s nearly impossible to obtain this item? Thanks in advance.

Are you using LFG to get into an organized T4 map?

That’s really going to be the only way you can do it. Just going to VB and hoping for a good one will result in a lot of shattered dreams.

I’ve gotten that several times. Doesn’t need 100% participation either. Probably a change from the April patch when the t4 box was changed to the one where you can select any piece from the set.

The selectable bladed armor box needs T4, but the bladed coat box itself is RNG based drop from night bosses. I have gotten around 8 coat boxes from doing random night bosses. As usual with RNG drops, when you dont specifically aim for it, it will drop for you :P

My advice is just to hop to VB from time to time, doing 1-2 bosses. Even if the map is not going to T4 there’s usually enough people to do Mat or Tetrad. Alternatively, if you hate RNG and is unlucky with T4 maps, you can get it from PvP / WvW track guaranteed.
