I found a way to tag this particular point of interest in Auric Basin without participating in the meta event. All you need is Lean Techniques.
It’s basically the same path as the Advanced Gliding method, but when you run out of endurance during the gliding portion, you’ll land on a conveniently placed platform to catch your fall. Simply glide against the wall from here and you’ll tag the point by proximity.
Proximity tagging is also used to get the Versoconjouring Waypoint from outside the Inquest building in Malchor’s Leap.
