I haven’t found anyone else having this issue, but the rifts for the Oct 4th Gillscale Pond current event don’t appear to be showing up for me. I can see icons on the minimap seem to point them out, but they aren’t visible or interactable for me. Has anyone else seen this?

If you have one of the rift devices and use the skill when near a rift event marker it should make a rift appear.

You need to be standing pretty much directly on the event marker dot. Then equip the device and hit 1.

If you don’t yet have a device, there should be some permanent rifts near the pond to jump through to start the process.

I’m currently standing next to Gillscale Pond and there’s no sign of any rifts at all, permanent ones included so I haven’t gotten the device. It was the same when I tried a couple of days ago. I guess a couple of us have the glitch?

I don’t think there are any ‘permanent’ rifts by the lake/pond. Only those opened up by someone with a Scanner.

At least, there weren’t any permanently up the last couple of weeks I’ve been there. If you still need a rift, contact me in game (if NA), and I will open one for you.

Remember, you don’t have to jump through a rift by the pond. Any rift in Core Tyria should do.

After waiting for about 2 hours, I got the " Class I Magic Rift" event, so, if you still wanna do the currebt event, You can just wait………………………………
