With the rate of how this is going, the challenging group part bit will be a deal breaker for me. As it stands i will not make the expansion purchase, unless the so-called pleases me, otherwise i’ll stick with the base game, heck i log in destiny from time to time without any expansion, so Anet better bring an ace in kitten with this. So considering how people can datamine stuff is there any leads?

Unfortunately none that I’ve seen, all we really know from anet is what the CGC won’t be….

That said I think a lot of people share your opinion. Personally I already pre-purchased the expansion largely for access to the BWE’s, but I think that the CGC reveal Saturday is going to be the make or break point for this expansion for a lot of people.

As long as you’re fine receiving very few content updates, nobody is forcing you to buy the expac. As of right now CGC is getting so hyped that it will probably not meet your standards. Regardless of how the CGC turns out, future living world seasons and new maps added will likely be gated behind the expac.

A lot of people seem to be forgetting that the content coming at launch will not be the entirety of the new content. Unless someone can show me an mmo with an expansion model which releases all expac content at once, I don’t see why everyone is complaining so much. I just hope you won’t start complaining about content drought for vanilla players just because you’re trying to prove your point.

it doesnt say it will come out with hot. Its just in the to do list. If we wait for like guild halls and gvg content it can take 3 years again.

ANd yes we have something like raids with sw. it is unorgnaized and a small scaled raid but it assembles a raid somehow.

Yea would take that with a pinch of salt since it also say gw2 core game will be free to play since hot is core now were is my copy

i will say if they put it with the guild,s and keep it with the guild,s . and in no way at all put it in the open world . i think it could be a good thing and would give guilds maybe something more better for them to do together. and if they did it with open world then just have to see what is and if it,s worth bothering with . if not then at lest the game still will offer something to every one.

Yeah I kinda lost faith in game journalism a long time ago… so I’m in the camp that would be suspicious if they said the sky was blue. Rather wait and see. But it seems very likely.

Yea no doubt… they think they are TMZ or some crap

But most of the community probably speculated by now it was going to be raids
given the fact there was a long CDI asking about raids a while back as well as a job posting for a raids programmer for anet…It sure as heck wasn’t going to be open world content as the new challenging content so it left some kind of instanced content (hardcore dungs or raids) basically were the only logical options.. Can’t wait to see the mechanics/gameplay/rewards for it thou

It feels very legit, if at least overflowing with unprofessionalism and click bait.
