Hi, I’ve been soloing a champion troll in verdant brink, for quite some time (due to reaper and necro damage/pve problems) and then daybreak occured and destroyed ALL my fun by removing the champ from the map when it was like 5%. This is really unfun, 0/10 would not play again

While I haven’t personally been playing on a single character long enough to see this (although, having been mucking around with Reaper, wow, I’m impressed at soloing a champ to 5%), I do want to add that if this is a day/night cycle issue and not a champion-specific bug, there should probably be a grace period. I like the idea of the day/night cycle, but I’d be pretty annoyed if the boss I was fighting disappeared instantly because of a cycle change. Maybe allow a few minutes, or code it so that if you’re actively engaged in a fight, the cycle doesn’t trigger the mob disappearing?

Yeah he just disappeared, despawned. It would make more sense if he tried to run away, I could at least chill the kitten out of him. :P

Like the Sandstorm Giant, i stopped doing because he just vanishes when the timer runs out, I will not do any event or fight any mobs that just despawns at dawn (or dusk). Despawning is the most unfun way of ending an event or fight and just makes it into an DPS check….

My suggestion is to make bosses stay if they are in combat and despawn only if unattended.
