Hi,

So I’ve noticed the vast majority of time spent in the Aerodrome is spent climbing around on stuff while waiting for a group. Consider adding a Jumping Puzzle in here that changes? Completing it one way wouldn’t be possible the same way all the time. Maybe a floaty something has moved over to the other wall. Maybe it’s a crane. Maybe the chest itself moves.

Anyway, it’d give a lot of something to do in the long wait for a raid to get going.

I’d never say no to another jp, even a static one. But one that changes… drools yes, oh yes.

Awesome idea, and very needed right now!

How about one JP that has multiple chests with moving platforms (cranes, airships, etc.) and they move slowly enough that you could only reach one chest per, say, 5 minutes.

Dear ANet writers,
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.

They did make a pretty big deal of adding proper moving platform support to the game with HoT, though they only really used it at the tail end on one story mission, unless they’ve used it in the recent raid paths I haven’t had a chance to visit yet.

As I understand it, the game couldn’t properly process moving platforms before for stuff like ground targeting and persistant effects, so they made some engine updates (which broke SAB)

I’d like to see the aerodrome, or somewhere, make use of the new tech for a JP or minidungeon with crazy moving platforms for sure.

No, thanks.

Less gimmicks, more actual combat content.

You know… you wouldn’t be forced to play the jp. They passed a law in Tyria called the “freedom of jumping” act, which allows people to jump or not jump as they wish.

If combat is what you’re after, you would still have the raids, dungeons, fractals, pvp, wvw and the open world. No-one’s taking that away. Some of us would just like more jumping options.

Jumping is proper content too. Combat is just more common and ubiquitous.

in 4 years you can complain about being bored waiting to play the game
