If I bought the ultimate package right now before the launch, it comes with an additional character slot. Will deluxe/ultimate status accounts get the other character slot after announcing the “**Learn more about the additional pre-purchase offer” ?

Or does that just apply to the standard $50 only?

I purchased ultimate and received two new character slots, if that counts for anything for your question.

A friend of mine bought an ultimate package one week ago and he got 2 additional slots: one from the package and one for pre-purchasing.

You would need to make sure you purchased it now (HoT launches in a few hours and the veteran character slot wont be available after that) and that you qualified for the veteran slot. Enjoy your 2 slots!

I purchased the standard version do I also get a slot?

I bought ultimate. AS far as I know I only got 1 slot. Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention. Must check after DL. >.>
