So my friends bought me as a gift the game from g2a because its cheaper that way and I’m poor.So my question is will i still get the character slot that is given to veterans I bought the game 1 month after release and have played since then not regularly but i have like 1200 hours in game?

How much you’ve played is irrelevant.

If you created your account before 23rd January 2015 (the day HoT was announced) then you will get the veteran character slot.

It will appear sometime on the first Friday after you add HoT to your account (because that’s when Anet checks and adds them).

Also, they give out the additional Vet Char slots once a week. So you probably wont get it right away. I had to wait a week for mine.
