Through the game, we’ve seen at least 3 characters that show either a spec or the new class: Rylock, who we know has become a Revenant, Marjory Delaqua, who started using a Greatsword after the events in “The Ghosts of Fort Salma” and Trahearne, who uses Caladbolg ever since the Pale Tree choose him to wield it.
It’s obvious we’ll start to see other important characters represent the other specs, so who do you think these characters will be?
I’ve always thought that Kasmeer Meade would likely take the mantle of Chronomancer in order to protect Marjory better.

My estimation is that Marjory might die( or they’ll try to res her sister?) and Kasmeer will end up turning to Chronomancy (through Glint’s cavern maybe?) to literally turn back time to save her. That’s purely fan guess though.
I also think Braham’s time with his mom will lead to the DragonHunter order of Guardians.
We still haven’t seen how Taimi might change. I’m half expecting Taimi’s golem to just start wielding a massive hammer or something.
I have a hard time seeing Rox become a druid though. Something about it doesn’t really seem to fit. Unless she finds a Grove of militant, gladium charr Druids that accept her and give her a place to call home or something.
Alexandra Duet has been a shield-using Mesmer since launch.

Oh yeah, Alexandra in Augur’s Grotto. I completely forgot about her.
Im curious towards if Rytlock is just a base Revenant, of if he has the Revenant’s Elite Specialization active or not.
I think either Jory or Kas dying is a bit obvious, so i’d quite like to think something happens to Kas, so Jory gets really angry, goes psycho “movie monster” mode and turns into a Reaper.
I would also love to see the Chronomancer be used as a plot device to shed more like on The Mesmer Collective. Maybe the origin of the Chronomancer is something the Collective has kept secret, and they feel it necessary to reveal it to defeat Mordremoth, allowing Kasmeer to learn it’s magic.

Plenty of NPCs have access to weapons that our characters currently can not use such as the Pistol user Warriors NPCs.
Though those NPCs are only samples of what to expect since they don’t have the abilities of Specializations.

There’s also “monks” in AC, a class we don’t have.
I clearly said “important characters”.

I mention NPCs because important characters are not the only ones showing off Specializations or using them.
On that note…
I don’t think we will see many of the important NPCs switch to Specializations or use them. At best we may most likely meet new NPCs both important and not so important that use these new Specializations.
Such as if Anet desides to have Razah return as a Revenant NPC that uses a new Specialization of Revenant.
