It seems like you can purchase Heart of Thorns expansion in the gem store, I was hoping we would’ve been able to get it at a cheaper price.

Seems like you can get the base expansion at $50 then do an upgrade for $25 and $50 for the Deluxe and Ultimate Upgrades respectively.

Wouldn’t it be better if you allowed the people who owned the core game to just pay for the upgrade and skip the base expansion payment. I’m sure there are many others like me who supported this game through the gemstore and would appreciate getting differentiated from new players who are going to just join the game by providing us with a discount.

No, it’s not true.

Those are prices to upgrade from standard hot to deluxe and ultimate not from core game

Those upgrade prices are in ADDITION to the $50 base EXPANSION.

But it does look kind of like they’re talking about additions to the base game.

Apologies, my mistake. It seems that you have to get the base expansion first, then you can do an upgrade after if you wish. I wish those were the prices instead.
