Hi Guys,

Can you Claim Guild Hall on HOT release date 23/10/15 ?

There Is a bit of confusion on whether or not you can do the expedition to Claim a Guild Hall on the HOT release date 23/10/15.

• Can you please clarrify if this is so?
• If not what exactly are the requirements?
• Can you do guild missions on day of expansion or do you have to wait for Saturday reset ?

Q: How feasible is it for guild to claim their guild hall first week after launch ?

A: Very feasible. You need to run some guild missions first to gain enough favor to run the expedition. You should be able to get enough favor in the first week but if not definitely the second week.

However, this means doing all three of the missions you’ll have open to you, and it’s already known that they’ll be WvW and PvP. No PvE in the random three for anyone until it resets 3 days after HoT launches.

You’ll also need some gliding mastery to get to the area, apparently. So, take time for that, and finding the place and getting everyone there. Add in delays for patches and doing all three missions, and even if you have the points (which is not assured) and the gold, you may simply not have the time on day one.
