Guild Wars 2

Anet, you told us that Veteran Players will receive an extra character slot. Will this be true for all tier levels of Pre-Purchasing? Or does Deluxe and Ultimate editions not get another one since they are paying for one already? Will those that get Deluxe or Ultimate receive some other form of bonus, get bypassed, or remain as they are?

All tier get 1. The tiers that already provide 1 will do so giving you two additional slots.

For all players who registered the core Guild Wars 2® game prior to January 23, 2015 and who upgrade their account by prepurchasing and registering any Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns edition before Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns‘ launch, we will add one additional character slot to your Guild Wars 2 account

The boldened parts seem to indicate that any=all editions get a additional slot meaning base 1 deluxe 2 ultimate 2

Not all of it. If the “This is not from ArenaNet” message isn’t being noticed in all the scam in-game e-mails why would you think they would read the whole blog post rather than jump on the forum before seeing if their question is answered in the next sentence or paragraph?

That assumes they even bother to check the blog post and simply reply to the information being tossed about the forum.
