Im liking all the new stuff so far, but i was wondering why all the classes have the same color abilities?

during character creation we get to select things about our character that represent ourselves, why not make it so our unique powers can have their own flare to them.

for instance guardians all have blue flames which seems righteous and all, but how about someone who wants gold flames, or white flames?

not all guardians are good, why not throw in the heretics. red blames, green flames, purple flames. different model spirit weapons to make them feel like a heretic in every way. (i’ve always wanted to make a dark version of my own character, id pay good money for that)

or with warriors. instead of straight brown and gold, why not red and grey themes.

Mesmer are completely random , why not have them vary?

just saying, if we can have uniqure color dyes and personalise our characters, lost of people would love to have unique flare to go along with it.

Would you be okay with that being disabled in any PvP setting (which de facto means the activities, too, though typically one doesn’t get profession abilities in those). The color is an immediate visceral hint as to what you’re facing, and with the outfits system pretty much the only quick identifier.

As I don’t PvP I’m not personally vested in this, and would love to have more customization, but I can see the PvPers’ point in wanting to have some ability to know what they’re fighting before it mincemeats them.

I’d love to see this in PvE! I see why it wouldn’t work in PvP but the idea is great.

there’s already the option to use standard models in pvp.

Because people would choose the most garish colors and make the game look like rainbow vomit.

I always wanted my Mesmer’s abilities to show in a flurry of bird feathers instead of butterflies. Nothing against butterflies, but her theme is wings and feathers.
