I didn’t see anything about it. Is Arenanet thinking of doing a Collector’s Edition for HoT? I want it, I have no interest in paying €100 (almost 115 US dollars) for a digital edition. I’d happily pay €150 for a collector’s edition (just like the original one).

If there’s not going to be a collector’s edition, I’ll just buy the standard one. I have no interest in minis or skins that will probably be on the gemstore later.

Lots of players feel the same, and are eager to get a Collector’s Edition. This is a very good chance to make players happy and earn up to 3-4 times the original amount of the expansion. It’s a win-win situation, please consider it.

I made a thread on this earlier. According to the FAQ, unfortunately, there will NOT be a collector’s edition, BUT there will be a physical boxed copy if you so desire.

I’m holding out some hope they’ll release at a later date some sort of “collector’s box” of different stuffs, even if it doesn’t pair directly with a release of some kind.

There are no plans for a collectors physical edition atm, you can find this information in the FAQS. They also stated that you will be able to upgrade from standard to deluxe via gem store but not ultimate. You literally buy standard or get ultimate for gem discount, there no real point in deluxe which makes me sad. I would be happy if pre purchasing felt special and these were limited
