they could easly bring in an equivalent of said commando using tyrian tech instead of modern day real life stuff. I mean you have a army have special trained asura or something.

If they had another gasmask skin that looked like that one, I’d be happy. The current one we have is good but a little too astronuaghty.

We already have charrcopters, charrtanks etc. An elite skill where you call these to shoot down your target would be hilarious.

I don’t think Sylvari actually wear underwear. There’s just some underwear-like leafy growth in their nether regions.

So technically that’s entire commando race.

I reckon the commando will be the engineer specialisation tbh. After all, we did end up getting the bobblehead laboratory item after so many players (including myself) wanted it from April Fools.

I like it. That’s better than most of the most suggested names for the engineer spec I’ve seen. And it could fit what little we’ve seen of them.

They dont have granades. Engi on the other hand uses rifle as shotgun. And we still miss that awesome outfit!

Remember that specialization means new weapon, new utilities, new traits.

Isn’t a stretch to see Thief get turned into some kinda Sniper/Commando with the Rifle. “Flashbang” sounds like a great utility for Damage, Daze followed by Blindness after Daze wears off

Engis could get a new elite called “Call in the Hounds”. It summons 3 Pact helicopters that fly around while a bad kitten guitar solo is going on in the background. The copters do no damage, no buffs, no nothing. They just fly around looking awesome

i’d love the outfit – except my engi is a charr. (head should be hilarious though)

regardless i can totally see this as an engi specializtion one day. my engi is already suited like a commando. (grenades, rifle, medpac, etc.)

The only problem with “combat engineer” is it suggests that current engineers aren’t “combat” ones. Like they’re knitting engineers or somesuch.

get 75 CoD achievements on your console then open up GW2 in your console. this class is then unlocked.

Yes! I must have it! Also, they can use a pred strike as a finisher.

Well, with all the pact helicopters and such in the HoT trailers, it’s why it makes me even more certain the engi specialisation will be the commando.

Maybe engi’s will get more variety in their tops too? No more trenchcoats. Though that is wishful thinking on my part… I had to get the glorious chest for my medium classes because it was literally the only top skin that didn’t cover my derrière. Things we have to do…

I know the feel…we Charrs got it bad too…fortunately also T3 chest comes without trenches, so grand total of 2 skins available! :-D

The “Commando” was introduced pre Bèta as a April Fool’s thing. I love seeing it again 3 yrs later

I feel sorry for the people who were misinformed by the trolls though…
