Is there an official page that has all of the information on how Guild Halls will work?
I have a LOT of questions, especially after seeing that they need to be claimed, and that there are only 2 locations so far. Does this mean that only 2 guilds will be able to have halls, and then they need to defend to keep them? Or is it something any guild can achieve, and you keep it always?

Are there prerequisites for having a guild hall, like influence numbers and commendations?

Will there be a maintenance fee, like rent, for keeping Guild Halls?
Will there be a required WvW presence to acquire and keep a GH?

There’s more, but if there;s a FAQ somewhere, I’d really appreciate a link.

We know that there are two instances to choose from, but like home districts each guild will have a different version of the one they claim. So, no worries there.

Beyond that, they’ve said that they’ll tell us more before HoT goes live, but they’ve not really done so yet.

Sarcasm, delivered with a
delicate, brick-like subtlety.

Any info on whether we will be able to switch halls is highly anticipated. Me and my guildies are not exactly blown away by the two that we saw so far though they are nicely done, so we’re wondering if we can change when new ones get released.

There will be more info released each day this week, so hopefully a lot of our questions will be answered.

I can say already they seem to be trying to make sure small guilds can enjoy all the benefits of Guild Halls.

When Guild Halls information was first released, it was stated you could change between the two Guild Halls. I would imagine, once (if) others are added, you will be able to change to those, as well.

Good luck.

Any guild can earn a guild hall. It is an instanced map, and as of HoT release there are two options, anet claims to want to add more (they also claimed to want to add more guild missions but… yeah)

According to today’s live stream, it works like this:

First, you’ll need a guild. Then you’ll need to pay an NPC in the guild initiative 100 gold to get access to the expedition to find the hall. (You do not lose the gold if you fail, you can retry until you succeed)

Once you have the expedition, you’ll have to go look for the entrance, and once inside you’ll need 5+ players to fight off the mordrem that infest it (the mordrem scale for everyone on the map, so 200 players should be just as challenging kitten

Once you’ve cleared out the mordrem you build a tavern and from there can build and upgrade buildings in the zone.

Guilds who do not yet have a guild hall can access most of the same services at the guild initiative in LA.
