I just wanted to let you know that by up scaling the new regions by almost 50% for monster damage output you have catered the game expressly to a group of players i myself am not a part of. Your new regions are not solo-friendly and/or require ascended equipment. I am a solo player that does not raid or dungeon. your new regions have monsters that do the same damage as the world boss Jormag, which frankly is ridiculous. Please let me know when you have made these areas playable by those who peak at exotic gear.

No thank you. I’ve completed the expansion story as of last night, going around solo, in exotic gear, and while some fights were tough, nothing was out of place regarding difficulty. I enjoyed it, and fights were far more rewarding when you won them. The only things I couldn’t solo were certain Hero Points, which is fine by me, I wasn’t the only one struggling with them, and a shout out in map chat soon brings other players that were struggling with it.

Change your build, and you are fine with Exotics. Ran around with my Thief, using Exotics, without any issues. Kill some enemies now and again, don’t always try to just run past them, that can get you killed. Also learn the mechanics, it usually is a clue right under the enemy health bar, e.g., evades while in their mist, stuff like that. For Hero Points use the /map and say you are doing a Hero Point in a direction from a Waypoint, give people some clues about where you are doing it, and chances are they’ll come. If not for that one, try a different one, be that the same map or a different one.

Seriously, I believe you can do this just fine, and that you’ll come to enjoy it. Just be willing to adapt a bit from your previous habits and build(s).

A set of exotic/rare gear will get by easily.
