Hey guys
I just had a friend of mine asking me a question I could not answer, so I though of sharing it here.

I got my GW account about 3 years ago, and after the upgrade to HoT I got a free character slot.
She bought GW during the discount about 250 days ago. And asked if she gets this free slot too, if she would upgrade now. If not, what else does she get except the obvious (hot maps, rev, spec’s).
Btw, I’m talking about the standard version, so no glider skin and so on.

If she manages to get the prepurchase version (so, i.e. buys the digital download version from the Anet website), she should be okay. If she buys the preorder one, she will receive the box/code on launch, and so will not qualify for the extra slot bonus.
