Sorry old fart here with bad memory. In the new notes I thought I read something about maked WPs less contested. I was hoping that would happen in Dragons Stand but no.
Are you ever going to make the WPs in Dragons Stand open for use? TY.
Contested WPs in Dragons Stand
My guess is that they will not as they are unique- they are automatically “given” to players when they first enter the map, and they are tied to the meta. Besides, it’s a fairly small map, so running around isn’t that big of a deal unless you’re trying to get to an event that needs you in a timely manner.
Also, uncontesting them would make getting the pets there completely trivial if all you have to do is waypoint in during downtime and take a few steps.

It means that you do not have to run up and activate them like other WP’s in the game. You can simply come onto the map for the first time with a new character and be able to access any of the WP’s depending on how far the meta has progressed. This let’s you get into the events easier if you come late, or help out another lane, without having to run or explore prior.
