Hey guys,
I know this was a big ongoing topic recently so I wanted to share this for anyone who hasn’t seen it.

TL/DR They are adding a method to convert the stats on ascended gear. Stats difference between exotic/ascended will remain at 5%

interesting. makes it possible for people to craft say… Keeper’s gear w/o the recipes because… those recipes do not exist for all intent and purpose at this point

The most important part to me is that they’re leaving the gap at +5%.

That’s a good point, I will edit accordingly.

Come on guys, this is important news regarding a major concern that players had with the new system. Don’t let it get buried.

Bump! That’s huge, stats not getting bumped to 10% (staying at 5%)
AND they’re adding an ascended stat swap system that’s expensive but not massively so.
is this relevant to the HoT subsection? I agree that this is both kittening awesome and important, but it’s not HoT specific. doesn’t this belong in the base GW2 discussion?
Oh I was kinda hoping for the 10% bump… well at least I sold a full stack of silk before the price reverted.

@Gray – It was brought up many times in this section which is why I posted it here as well, though it probably is more relevant in core game discussion.
@ScribeTheMad – it’s really not too expensive, not much more than crafting/buying a new piece of exotic would be. It is unfortunate that you lose the upgrades, but you would probably need to buy new upgrades for new armor anyway.
