Guild Wars 2

Hello,
So a friend who does not own the game yet but wishes to get into playing asked, if they prepurchased HoT (with the core game) will they be able to begin playing the core game immidiately after purchase?

I did not know the answer to this so I thought I would pass it on to someone who possibly did.

Yes I don’t see any reason Anet would keep new players from getting into the Core game till HoT release so any new player should be able to get started playing the game.

Yes they even state so on the buy page, you will be able to start your journey in core game right away.
