Hey all, I’m after the Chak Miniatures and it’s proven to be a real b****. So I have some questions.

First question regarding the Mini Chak Gerent; This is the one you get from the Hivemaster achievement.
Is there an easier way to collect Chak eggs or weapons besides completing the meta for ONE egg every single time?(I need 18)

Second question regarding the Mini Chak Lobber; this is be one you get for seventy five guild commendations, yeah you heard me SEVENTY FIVE.
So my question is: if I have multiple guilds, would I be able to join the guild missions each week on ALL of them and get a load of commendations? Or is guild mission completion shared across all guilds?

I can’t help with the eggs question but I can tell you that you can’t double up commendations. That is, you can’t do the Easy Trek twice in a week with two different guilds for two commendations. But if one of your guilds has more missions available than another (via the extra mission slots), any non-duplicate missions will help you.

You can check whether you will get a reward for any particular mission by looking at the mission tab in the guild panel. If there’s a big gold shield, the guild has done that one already. If there’s a little open chest with light leaking out of it, you’ve gotten your personal reward from that mission. If the guild has done it but you have not, the guild can restart it for you to go to your own personal part and get the reward even if the mission then times out (works best on treks and rushes).

Chak eggs seem to drop in greater numbers from crystallized supply caches after the Spring Quarterly update. You’re bound to get one or two during a meta cycle if you open enough caches. Also, some events seem to have a Chak egg as possible reward, like killing the Chak Lobbers (near the SCAR camp, the one where you follow Elizia Skysight, and Rata Novus). Depends on how many characters you have and how many times you can tolerate doing Buried Insight, but you can get all of the 1-handed weapons except the warhorn from redoing the story on different characters. I think you can get two more weapons (pick 2-handers) from achievements and the pvp track. If you do this, you take care of the equivalent of 37 out of the 60 eggs that you will need.

If you do go the repeat-the-story route, it will also put a big dent in the auric weapon collection too.

The chest after the Gerent event gives out eggs too, sometimes more than one. That’s in addition to the guaranteed choice reward.

I honestly don’t know why they were so stingy with the chak weapons when you can get all the auric weapons via story rewards (if you have enough characters, at least).
