So I was looking at the different prices between America and England, and it works out that us over here in Blighty have to pay almost £20 more for the Ultimate edition, than our companions over in the States . Why is this so? It’s not like there is anything physical to deliver across the Atlantic, and surely the base code doesn’t have £20 worth of changes in it?

It’s a heinous crime that they charge more in UK/EU.
Another thing that’s done because they can get away with it. That’s why you should wait and buy from a 3rd party after it releases… like my uk friend did.

I farm more than a chinese gold seller.

When you adjust for VAT and other taxes, it is not that different at all.

E.g. £80 for the ultimate edition.

80 × 0.8 (taking off 20% VAT that UK pay) = 64

£64 converted into US dollars = $101.33

US pay $100 then an unpublished sales tax depending on the state which is usually not included on the advertised price.

Please do your maths properly before complaining about conversion rates.
