So after reading the patch notes which shows
12/01/15 – December 1 Release Notes
BALANCE, ********** BUG-FIXING ******************, POLISH
Why has there been no fix for nevermore progression?
you have known about the issue for 2 weeks and yet nothing has been done ?
really? what does it take to get stuff done ?

There are many bugs that are known since the launch of HoT… and still aren’t fixed.
Well, I’m logging in at the moment and will take a look around for some unmentioned fixes, but my expectations are low…

They don’t mention the huge bugs with the final story! I’ll try again in a few minutes. Hope all goes well this time.

FYI
1: Crystal still bugged
2: Pups still bugged
They didn’t mention anything for poor Warriors or the real issues with Revenant.
It’s like they don’t caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare.
Did you really just push out a patch without fixing, or EVEN MENTIONING the bugs preventing you from crafting Nevermore. I really hope this is just not written in the notes. Ridiculous if this has been a week and a half now of not a single word on this subject.

“Untethered” seems to be fixed now. At least theres now a “Qualified for Untethered” sign. I’ll report soon if it worked as intended now.
FYI
1: Crystal still bugged
2: Pups still bugged
What?
Vision crystal won’t work until you have the tamed spirit. You can’t have the tamed spirit until pups and rabbits is fixed. Pups IS fixed. Waiting on rabbits.
After that, we should be able to meld the spirit and finally use the crystals.
So in conclusion – currently waiting to see if rabbits event is still bugged.
Because if you know about a bug fixing it is easy right? -_-
Well, another patch has come and gone. Rodgort, Flameseeker, Kudzu, and Dreamer all got new effects, yet the tier2 legendaries are still broken.
Friend of pups is now avail, rabbits still don’t spawn.
Good luck all.
I was waiting eagerly to progress my Axe collection today, but to then find out its still bugged, and to then notice there were no balance changes what so ever.
What’s wrong with doing micro patches on a weekly basis to fix bugs that pop up than wait 1, 2, 3 months to fix things. Constantly playing this waiting game isn’t fun, its like waiting for a date who never shows up.

it didn’t work for me couldnt buy it from vender in CF had to redo it 3 times for the vender to give me it… so that in itself is a major bug
and if you look at the tool tip Combine Raven and spirit……..
Take your Primed raven and vision crystal ……….
I have the primed raven
I have 1 vision crystal in my bag
where does is say there I need the tamed raven ? in the tool tip for combine raven and spirit ?
As long as they get their Ranger nerf in they’ll call it a day.

Read the whole description:
Take your primed raven and a vision crystal to the Raven Shaman’s power source hidden within Darkhoof heights in Snowden Drifts and use it to meld your Raven with the tamed Spirit you hae cultivated
You don’t have a tamed spirit yet. If you look at the collection the first hald is the primed raven, the last half is the tamed spirit and in the middle they meet at this step for combining the two.
You do not have a tamed spirit to combine yet because rabbits is still bugged.
With regards to you requiring the vendor not offering it to you initially, might be because the whole patch was not downloaded yet. Not sure, that’s the first I’ve heard but glad you got it at least.
Now they just need to fix rabbits and hopefully everything else will work.

Hmm you are correct, my apologies
odd you would expect the steps/blocks to be done in sequence but it seems this hasn’t been done which has now resulted in this blocking alot of players progression.
/sigh……….
Yep. There goes at least another week of them ignoring the legendary collections. Was really disappointed waking up to not see any fixes for this in the patch notes. >_<

Yeah there are still about half of those “craft-able” precursors that cannot be crafted, I really wish this was of a higher priority than it is. I still can’t make it past Zap tier 1 because of an event being bugged out. I wished they’d just take the risk of events being bugged on these collections out of the equation, would make it so much simpler, you can add more depth to it, just make it simple, yet tedious.

Welcome to Grind Wars 2 where they apparently want to increase your long term goals by bugging things up and not patching them up until a month or two later on, we hope you’ll enjoy your stay.
Really disappointed about this. Guess Astralaria won’t be available for at least another week (because we know Anet won’t do hot fixes for these sorts of things because that would be helpful).
This is just ridiculous, I don’t have any words left anymore. What a crappy company, teasing us by fixing pups and not putting it in patch notes, and then makes everyone to AFK in Queensdale for nothing. This is just unbelievable
What’s wrong with crafting Nevermore?

It kinda is in sequence. Like I said, follow from the first box in top left of the collection from left to right. You will eventually stop at the primed raven.
Now follow from the last box in bottom right corner of collection from right to left. You should end up with a tamed spirit.
The last step with the vision crystal should combine the 2.
But just to confirm, after 90 minutes, rabbits still not popped so likely bugged.
They aren’t broken. They are just time gated by patches.

Why would a patch mention the things it didn’t address? Why would you expect that every bug important to you is important to everyone and deserves greater priority? Why would you want them to hurry fixes, rather than properly troubleshooting the root cause to make sure they don’t recur elsewhere?
I am a harsh critic of ANet’s communication — in general, I think they could do much better. However, I reserve my rhetoric for those situations in which ANet is truly dropping the ball or missing an opportunity to do better. There are always going to be bugs and ANet is never going to be able to address (never mind resolve) them all. They will fix collections, but there’s no reason to expect that every patch will resolve the issues for any particular collection, no matter how prominent.

They actually fixed one of the two bugs in the collection. They didn’t mention anything about the fix, and it gave people hope that they actually fixed the rabbit event

In case you missed the title of the notes today, I’ll copy paste for you
12/01/15 – December 1 Release Notes
BALANCE, BUG-FIXING, POLISH
Also, since you are clearly uneducated on the subject, I will enlighten you. When the different teams and devs fix things or add things for the patch notes, those are written in code. Another person in charge of typing the patch notes we see on the forums receives said list, and they decipher it, and they take what they think is important to summarize. 90% of the time, things go skipped by unintentionally and not listed on the public notes. Not only does this happen every single patch, but anet themselves have described this exact scenario and apologized if things are missing from posts because of it.
This patch, the one from TODAY had a fix for one of the Nevermore bugs, which was not listed in the patch notes, so I really shouldn’t have had to explain myself there, but moving on.
I expect them to fix it because:
1- I paid for this expansion for this weapon only
2- legendaries were announced to release BEFORE 2014, and that didnt happen
3- they were then announced to be coming out with Hot – that didn’t happen
4- they were announced to be delayed because they weren’t ready, and would be 2 weeks late- that DID happen, but with bugs preventing you to progress
5- 3 days later they fixed said bug, only to find out there are more which still prevent progress. It has now been 11 days with NO word on this subject, not even a “We’re aware” post.
If you think this is just me, or a minority of people then you are beyond ignorant.
Why do I want them to take their time instead of rush? Well the model has been in the game for over a year that we’ve seen, plus they had 3 years to work on these. BUT EVEN if it’s still not ready, I would prefer a post on it, rather than complete silence, even after a patch is pushed out 1.5 weeks later with no fix.

BALANCE, BUG-FIXING, POLISHAlso, since you are clearly uneducated on the subject, I will enlighten you.
In case you missed my post, I’ll rephrase it: they won’t fix every bug in every patch. Some bugs will never get fixed. Important collection bugs eventually do get fixed, but according to ANet’s priorities, not any individual player’s or group of players’ — some stuff is harder to fix, some affects more people in a more fundamental way.
And in case you want to educate yourself, note that every patch in the past has a “bug-fixing” section (or equivalent). And not a single one of those patches has every included notes about what they haven’t fixed.
I can understand your frustration (I even share it, at times). It’s up to you to decide whether to let it interfere with being able to enjoy the rest of the game…or not.
edit: possessive case agreement.

They fixed a lot of bugs in the first couple of weeks after launch. Then they just seemed to give up.

Footsteps and blue aura with a trail of New Krytan characters.

Thanks. How the heck did I not notice footsteps? Have to check my graphic settings later…

They got our money and the 1 month window to get a refund is over so why would they bother?

They did not change the HOPE requirement where you need events, which can be solo’d, to fail so that champs spawn at Union Waypoint and at Frostgorge (old champ train).
Really pathetic.

I’m starting to think maybe they just all quietly went on holiday and thought no one would notice?
