Guild Wars 2

So here I am – deciding I want the Luminate Backpiece ( Exalted one) only to find that it requires grind like nothing else – you have to basically farm 19.800 Aurilium Pieces.

So my question is this – are there any other ways of getting the dust ( which is the heaviest grind gate) other than the chests under Tarir?
Do you think new content (raids maybe?) will address the low amount of this material you can gather?

In its current state I find it incredibly grindy to try to get the backpiece.

Of have a lot of alts. I have 9 alts already in HoT zones (mostly sitting at the flax farm of course). It doesn’t take long to run them through to get the weapons and that will get me 9 of the 15, +1 from the PvP track. That leaves 5 to farm mats for.

Yes but am I the only one who sees the fact that i have to run the same story 8 more times in order to get those weapons as terrible?

The story is not amazing- and to top it all off takes a boring long time with NPCs walking at the slowest of paces.
