Compensated? Dude, this isnt exactly an actionable offense you can take someone to court for.

I know it sucks. but come on, be realistic. They choose their time slots for a reason, and if you can’t make it to their chosen time slots, it isn’t their fault.

I do think their choice of time slots was not a good one, because it did make it hard for a large population to be there, but seriously, this wasn’t a product they were releasing to market that day, this was a beta test, which is for them to test the game out to see what needs repairing.

In exchange for helping them test, you get the opportunity to experience some of the game early. But beta testing is still for the company, not for you. If you grinded for the portal but couldnt get in because of your schedule, it’s not their fault, and therefore you don’t deserve compensation.

You know why I didn’t even tried to get a beta portal? Because I have a job and I knew that I would barely have time to play it, if at all.
If you study and know that you spend good part of your day at the college, why you bothered to get the portal? All the betas are on week days at times that the devs are at work, so chances are people who work or study won’t be able to join the betas.
We’ll probably get BWE (beta weekend event) later, but I’m pretty sure those will be for players that make pre-purchase or something similar, and that is when players like us will be able to play the beta.

Well, maybe if you agreed to return all the gold & items obtained while farming the Silverwastes or Dry Top for the beta portal key. On second thought, naaaaah.

Yes, you missed a little bit, but there will be other beta tests, and undoubtedly some of the times and/or dates will conflict with your or someone else’s schedule, but, then, life just isn’t fair.
