Guild Wars 2

I was doing Dragon Stand for 2 hours, logged out and then did VB for 2 hours without opening any chests and then I reveived only 5 chests, did I lose the rest? I read that you can stack up 20 of them then why mine disappeared?

I had a strange issue yesterday where I lost some chests. I then went to pick up some items from the tp and as soon as I did I also got my lost chests. Maybe something maybe nothing……

If you loot chests past the stack, they instantly get put in your inventory as you receive them.
