Any speculation about what weapon for the next legendary release? As far as I know they are not going to make 2nd gen legendaries for underwater weapons right?
Sword-Scepter-Dagger-Hammer-Longbow-Warhorn-Torch-Focus-Rifle-GS
Are they going to release it like themed with the map
Ember Bay – Lava – Eureka
Bitterfrost – Icy – Shooshadoo

Shame about underwater weapons I really wish underwater wasn’t tossed under the bus it’s the most unique feature of this game.

My vote is on Rifle there are patterns in all things their doing serious versions of fun legends and the least used weapons first it seems. Though the least used is mainly do to class locks like the short bow. Also it’ll probably be fun the fun get a serious and the serious gets a fun seems to be a pattern the axe may seem the exception but frostfang is a dragons head which seems fun to me as it’s not a normal axe like the new one.

My guess is
Isle if Janthir – Rifle – Oddball weapon probably due to advance tech nature related to Mursaat

For me, Astralaria and Frostfang are the exceptions for Troll-Serious Legendary pattern.

Hopefully scepter.

honestly they prob just pick it out of a hat. Don’t fret.

My guess is that it’ll be a weapon type that’s rarely used.

For rarely used it would have to be rifle since it is only usable by two class to begin with and even for those it isn’t great.

I hope the next one is either a focus or a mace. I happen to like the look of the Minstrel myself, but I can understand why many wouldn’t like the minstrel or the Moot. I think that ANet adding non silly legendaries for focus and mace would make a lot of people happy.

It wont be a mace, they just did that one and it was non-silly at that

We got Eureka with the Ember Bay release. I do hope for a focus- rumor has it Elementalist next elite is a sword mainhand. No idea the play style of it but since I can’t have Tempest warhorn with it I prefer focus off hand to dagger off hand. The next sword legendary would also be welcome

I imagine they could save any legendaries relating to new elite spec weapons till nearer the next expansion, or even acquirable in the new maps of the next expansion?

So if the rumour is accurate then I’d imagine Sword or Greatsword, Torch, Dagger, Rifle could be towards the end of LWS3 or even drop with the next expansion and Focus, Warhorn, Hammer could be sooner in the next few episodes of Season 3. Scepter I’m not sure because I’m believing it could be a new elite spec weapon, perhaps Revenant (this is an unfoudned guess, they could get greatsword for all I know…).

I just hope that its more than one legendary, at least a weapon type for each class.
