Guild Wars 2

I previously had the disc version of the core Guild Wars 2 when it was released. Today I bought the HoT PC Download that gives me the registration key. Will I have to uninstall the old client and re-download the new client once I redeem the serial key for HoT? Or will the old client automatically update to include HoT?

The old client will update.
Actually if you were playing GW2 recently there is a big chance that you have HoT downloaded already.

Yeah I just downloaded a huge update a couple days ago. So what your saying is that once I redeem the code, I should be able to start with it activated as soon as I login. That’s pretty sweet thanks :P
