you’ll have to get xp the old fashioned way. So stock up on cheap 15% XP Halloween food

Consumable boosters help, but there’s no shortcut with ToK.
Read the Tome carefully, they clearly state that at lv 80, they grant Spirit Shards instead of EXP, however… the Writs grants XP…. just saying.

They don’t, you can’t use them once you are 80.
Yeah, I tried both from within Verdant Brink during BWE’s, just to be sure, and nothing worked. It still just went toward the XP bar we see now.

If you get a lv 1 to mag and level it there do you get 80 levels of track experience?

No. You only start to gain mastery experience when you are level 80.
