Of course, if you buy Heart of Thorns, you’ll get a free boost of any one of your characters all the way up to 80. But funnily enough, I’ve been hoarding mine for a while. How about you all? Have you used it? If so, do you regret it for whatever reason?

Mine still sits in its Shared Inventory Slot.

Since you keep the shared slot that it is placed in, after use. I used mine the first day HoT came out (on my second thief if I remember right). Besides, hardly need a free lvl 80 thing, can always just use 80 of my 1000 tomes from my bank to lvl a char if I need to.

Still in the slot bought 5 shared slots when they got into game dont really need that extra one atm.

This is nitpicking, but no you didn’t. You probably used it the day the boost launched, but that wasn’t with HoT.

Just a pet peeve of mine, but I like to keep the history of things straight. The boost came with the April 2016 update. The Shared Inventory Slots didn’t even exist before January 2016.

Ditto. I have the max amount of shared slots and I want another dozen.

Used mine for a Revenant.

Don’t actually play him really, but no complaints as I am sitting on stacks of tomes if I ever want to insta-level another character.

I used mine on a second engineer to play Power Flamethrower (for grins). Then, ANet turned Flamethrower into a mostly condi weapon. Now I have a free slot, but no L80 boost.

23 characters, 22 of which are 80. I really needed that shared inventory slot.

For veterans though this is a minor issue since we have our scrolls and tomes for instant level 80. The full exotic gear and not having to click through 79 level ups though is nice.

Nope. Made my Reaper as soon as I could. My other necros will just have to wait for the next Xpac to be special.

Nope, deleted a level 80 Asura Guardian to remake it as Norn (using the boost) so I could get that part of the story line done.

Subsequently, I deleted the Norn after finishing HoT and the achievement part of the personal story. Remade it as a human…who was also deleted after finishing HoT.

Once again, I am back to having a level 80 Asura Guardian…as the universe intended.

Nope. I needed that slot. I already had plenty of 80s so I made a norn revenant just to have an excuse to get T3 norn armor … she sits at the VB flax farm now.

I used mine on my main the same day I got it. I had/have enough tomes to never have to worry about leveling, and I really wanted use of that shared inventory slot. :p

kitten no. I think i saved it for a day or two, but i have so many boost scrolls/tomes of instalvl & already have 1 of every class at 80… there was just no point in saving.

I used (probably wasted) mine straight away on my already level 80 character because I wanted the shared slot it took up lol

I finally just used it last week. I got tired of leveling my Mesmer so boosted her to 80.

Yeah, all 9 are lvl 80. Got nothing to do with it until we get a new class/race and character slots go on sale.

I still have mine. I’m still not comfortable (i’m a nub) with the game yet to upgrade to lvl 80.

No, I used it on my guardian Charr. And for some reason I really regret my choice. I should held on to it for longer.

Not yet. I really want to use it for a necromancer, but I’m having a hard time picking a race/sex I know I’ll enjoy the voice acting and animations for.
