I’d previously dreaded that all the JP’s would become obsolete because of the glider, but i wouldn’t think they’d add in a new jp now just for it to lose effect in a few months. Hopefully they’ll add in some mechanic that blocks the glider use, otherwise things like griffon-rook run would become crazy easy.

No worries. Gliders will be only usable in HoT maguma jungle zones. Base gw2 ain’t designed with gliders in mind. So our current JP’s will not be affected.

Gliders are only going to be usable in the new HoT maps not in the old maps. So the old JPs will be fine whereas new JPs in Maguuma may require you to use the Glider .

pretty sure the glider will only be able to be used in heart of maguuma areas (thats how I read it anyway)

Once you’ve unlocked the Gliding Mastery track, you can pull out your glider any time you’re in free fall in the Heart of Maguuma.
