To clear up confusion, this is a guide about the final event within the time limit. Not the bad kitten world boss encounter.

There are 3 lanes, North, Middle, South.

South fights Axemaster Hareth
Mid fights Blademaster Diarmid
North fights Staffmaster Adryn

There are often conflicting strategies for these encounters.

The challenge is not in fighting the bosses, but coordination, so I will not post how to kill the bosses, but how to enable them to be attacked.

The one that has worked more often for me is to have a group of 5-10 at each pod, killing the pod and the Preservers that restore them, with the remaining to fight the boss.

The one that I personally do not like is everyone running around killing Preservers, while a smaller group kills the pods, then fights the boss.

The strategies have pros and cons, most of which are just related to how well the group is coordinated. I think that more coordinated groups can handle the group strategy, while the lesser coordinated groups may want to stick to running around in a circle.

The Pods keep the boss immune, and the Preservers heal and revive them if given enough time.

The object is to keep the Three Pods at each location destroyed, so the boss can be attacked.

The bosses have to be dead at the same time, however if one lane kills a boss too early, it can keep it from respawning by ensuring a Preserver does not respawn a Pod. If it does, the boss returns with full health.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about how scaling works in events like this as well, so I’d like to clear up any.

Each event (North, Middle, South) is its OWN event. Meaning, the people at North will NOT scale the people at Middle or South, and vice versa. Also ANY person in the giant circle at North will scale up ANY SPAWN that appears in the circle at north, regardless of how close or far the person is from where the spawn occurred. It works just like Tequatl the Sunless, where people have thought that having too many at a specific spawn point will cause champions to appear. This isn’t true, per the explanation above.

This guide isn’t perfect, but it should provide a good enough explanation for the few that read these forums about how to complete it.

Good luck!
