Anet I think you should fix the way the meta event is done. You cannot get 100% map completion until the event is finished. Many times people don’t even do the meta event there and it’s almost impossible to get 100% completion. To many restrictions in the way that map is structured. You can leave the contested waypoints but it would be nice to remove that part of doing the meta for map completion. I know some players just want to explore and get every POI, Vista, Hero Point on that map. But in this way you are forced to do the event.
