Guild Wars 2

Last night I finally reached Dragon’s Stand and I was happy to find an active map with so many exciting events. The build up and fights were really awesome. I was just very disappointed when after we failed we didn’t get as much as a participation chest like in the previous maps.
I don’t know if this is intended or not, but we spend the last 45 minutes defending points with no XP or loot (since enemies keep spawning so that isn’t suprising), but to get nothing at the end of this is a bit of a let down. Also people started leaving halfway in the fight, which is to be expected if you don’t get any rewards, but it didn’t help succeeding in the event.
I’m not asking for much but in the previous maps you at least got some personal reward for participating and some xp. This would at least give some recognition to the fact that we fought for 2 hours straight and give some incentive not to give up to quickly.
