So I noticed that running a full map of Verdant Brink gives way more airship parts and crowbars than running a full map of Auric Basin, which gives barely any aurillium and keys. I got enough airship parts in one go to buy like 4 or 5 machined weapon collection items and more than enough crowbars. What gives?

They are all rewarded from events. The difference between VB and AB/TD is that all events in VB reward crowbars but only the meta events in AB/TD give keys while the others give the currency. The events giving keys is much more efficient.

^^In addition to that, VB has by far the most events of any map

I’m always short of currencies except airship parts really and crowbars.

AB rewards are based on the outpost you are doing.

Southwatch awards keys. Doing every event in the southwatch chain will award ~70 keys.

Northwatch awards currency I think, the other 2 are a mix but I don’t know the specifics.

Overall VB is more liberal with the stuff though. However AB gives better rewards thanks to map hopping if you have the keys

Map hopping works for VB too but then you would have to memorize locations for the large cargo.
