The Zephyrites are a secluded, zen-like organization composed primarily of humans of Canthan or Elonian descent that live in a fleet of airships, the largest of them being the Zephyr Sanctum, that roam the skies of Tyria. Their magic incorporates power from the Aspects — three forms of air magic that are stored in crystals recovered from Glint’s corpse in the Crystal Desert.

It makes perfect sense. We have a lot of contact with Zephyrites in the Dry Top, and we’re hunting for Glint’s egg… Lore and story wise, this specialisation makes perfect sense.

But what makes even more sense, is that the F-skills will change to 3 new elements:

  • Wind Magic
  • Sun Magic
  • Lightning Magic

These elements are all focused on “air magic”, and what is a tempest? A heavy storm…
What would you think of this?

PS: Before you start saying Sun resembles Fire, Lightning and Wind resemble Air, don’t.
Creativity is never an obstacle to make these elements distinctive enough on their own. Giving this argument is ridiculous and I heavily implore you don’t use it.

1. We already know the name of the elementalist elite specialization: Tempest.
2. Being a zephyrite is more than just using air magic in a particular way, it’s a world view and a way of life. Thus players becoming zephyrites makes little sense.

I’m pretty sure it’s stated (or at least theorized) in game that all three aspects are forms of air magic.

dear god, please not such more “high concept” junk with terrible names (includes Tempest too)

The Zephirites also GOT DESTROYED. They have no leader anymore, got killed, they have no elemental iconics anymore, got all 3 killed from a minion of mordremoth and the rest of the zepherites that still exist are scattered all around Dry Top now.

Zephyrites were a small lore integrated group of sky traveling merchants only, not some kind of profession that everybody simple can become.
inspiratino can be taken yes, but for gods sake, just don’t copy paste the whole concept of them 1:1 into an Elite Spec with the same name.
That would be absolutely everything else, than being creative.
