Hey, I need a ascended longbow for my warrior and I was thinking, that I just get the elite spec longbow from the Dragonhunter to use it on my warrior. My question is, can any other character use that bow or only Dragonhunters?

Since it’s ascended, yes. Any of your characters that can equip longbows can equip it.

Yes you can use it on any class, it’s not locked for only the elite spec itself.

ascended equipment is never soulbound, it’s designed to be carried over between characters. However, the choice of stats on the Elite Specialization weapons is somewhat limited, I do not know if Ydalir has the stat that’s optimal for a condition warrior. lemme check on wiki:
Berserker, Commander, and Rampager. Well Rampager will do. But after that you need to take it to a mystic forge with:

• 5 Globs of Ectoplasm
• Ydalir
• Viper’s Orichalcum Inbued Inscription
• Anthaology of Heroes (25 spirit shards)

Forge-swapping is awesome, but just be aware that it changes the skin of the item to the generic crafted skin; if you’re in love with the original look of the bow you’ll need to use a transmutation charge to get it back.

to recôppe on that, you can just explore any of the capital cities for a transmutation charge, or do like 2 or 3 pvp matches, but yea, as they said, transmuting ascended items returns it to it’s “native state” which is the “Antique Weapon” such as “Crimson Antique Longbow” for the Zojja’s (berserker) or “Terracotta Antique Longbow” for Yassith’s (Sinister) and Veratha (Viper)
