Regarding elite specializations, I was wondering how/if it will affect a toon’s wardrobe. What I mean is would elite specialization allow for a different set of armor skins to used in that form that is separate from the skins used in a toon’s current form. For example, could a Necro wear a Phantom Hood in their standard form, but in it’s Elite greatsword form, wear a Grenth’s Hood or would they have to physically change skins every time they switched forms?

I imagine you would need to physically change skins each time. I haven’t seen any word yet on a quick change feature for skins.

They aren’t changing armor types, why would they need new skins?

I think he is referring to the fact specializations come with new skins.

I’m pretty sure you’ll just get the new skin added to wardrobe. That’s all.

That’s what I’m thinking as wel. Just as we are able to wear profession specific skins you get on character creation on other professions.

i have a feeling it is also just for the new weapon as your armor isn’t changing much although new skins for armor to match better would be cool

They said there’d be a single armor piece that would be similar in style to the new weapon skin. They said it would probably be a should or head piece.

“a fancy weapon skin for your new weapon type, and an armor skin for a single matching piece of armor (usually headgear or shoulders). "

What I’m referring to is could specializations include something akin to a wardrobe template where you can say, have a thief wear Strider armor in standard form, and Viper armor in Specialization form without having to spend transmutation charges everytime.
