Guild Wars 2

As per today’s new blogpost, Dolyaks will gain extra defense against damage and condition based on amount of surrounding allies! This is awesome, I love to run yaks but hate failing because of thieves. Now, thieves won’t be able to easily kill yaks while avoiding my damage as it’ll take longer while I’m alive. Plus -> escorting NPCs. <3

Hopefully they’ll be a little faster to make it less of a chore.

Didn’t dolyak escorting used to be a thing to do? I remember reading about the hordes of people escorting dolyaks a little past launch. Then ANet nerfed the rewards.

i just ment in general. in other games, an this one, escort missions are da worst. let me fight w/o worring about the princess

Did you see the flying/launched cows in the video? Maybe those were dolyaks! If the escort mission fails is that were they end up? On catapults? Cattlepults? Dolypults? =P

I never liked escorting Dolyaks but I tell you what…it’s even worse when all it takes is one dude to run up and blap the thing instantly while you got 20 guys escorting it and now you gotta wait for the next one.

What about sprinting dolyaks with cattlepults? Throw dem supplies right at supplies’ npc fat face. Yo!
