I am trying to get The Karmic converter. For this Exotic Hunter is required. To gain this title I need to "Unlock these 34 exotic weapon skins from champion bags in your wardrobe. ". Is this title also achieved by buying the required exotic items in the trading post and unlocking their skin or do I need to find them in champion bags?

It’s unlocked by adding the skins to your wardrobe so yes you can buy them on the TP you don’t have to get them as drops.

As long as your get the skin unlocked, no matter buying off TP or loot from champ bag.

Yeah, you can buy them but you won’t like the price of some of ’em!

I have the karma converter.

There may seem many good rewards, but the chance of it dropping good rewards is actually rare everyday.

I do think it is a good fun item though, and I’m glad I get it.

The best use for the Karmic Converter is as a source of discounted Obsidian Shards every day. Of course, if you run a lot of Dry Top or Silverwastes, Obsidian isn’t really going to be a problem.

Aside from that, it occasionally offers some nice rewards for karma, like T6 mats, Lodestones, Bags of Jewels or WvW items. They don’t turn up that often, but it’s a nice bonus when they do.

It can’t be worth the gold sink of buying all those rare weapons. I assume those that have it collected all the rare exotics when they first dropped before it was a collection unlike me who sold them all for gold Then it was nerfed and now you rarely see them. 70g Rahzah’s Nightmare(A torch) 70g Arthropoda(long Bow) 69g Genesis (hammer) ……………shoot, i’d Sell! Sell! Sell!

Yes, it’s expensive, but I have to satisfy my compulsion to collect all converters/gobblers. Herta, Star of Gratitude, Princess, Mawdrey II, Ley Energy Converter… and one day… the Karmic Converter.
